The book covers have some light bumping and rubbing to the spine ends and corners, along with very beginning fraying to the corners. There is some toning / fading to the spine and spine joints. The gilt lettering and decoration on the front cover and spine have some dulling and rubbing. The rear cover has some ground in fingermarks. The text pages are generally clean and bright. There is a previous owner's inked name on the dedication page.
