Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends, with fraying cloth and small splits. Creased spine cloth. Book has a slight forward lean.

No publication date besides the frontispiece. Printed in Great Britain. 267 pages. Interiors are clean and unmarked. Binding is cracked between pages 172 and 173. 103 illustrations. Overall a fair and readable copy.

Blue cloth stamped in gilt lettering. 267 pages with about 70 illustrations - quite a few on slick paper and some in color. . Several lines of text highlighted in yellow. Binding has a few quite small worn spots at edges etc. Back of binding has a dark discoloration - somewhat inconspicuous. A very nice former owner's illuminated name on front pastedown in blue, black and red. Flyleaf, half-title page and rear free endpaper browned a little. Just very little foxing in a few spots. Solid - hinges tight. Good+.
