Blind-stamped and pebbled blue cloth with gilt lettering on the front board, gilt lettering and design on the spine. The binding is remarkably well preserved, occasional light foxing internally including on the title page and frontis. Neat presentation note on front free end page. A moral tale for children, centered on the age-old tensions between gardener and woodchuck. Near fine.
