21 pages: illustrations. Dimensions: 21x14.5 cm. Text in Ukrainian. A very good copy with minimal wear. "Romko-Bomko" by O. Fedeiko is a Ukrainian emigre children's book published in Toronto around 1950-1951. The book is a fairy tale or fable designed for children, featuring whimsical illustrations and a playful story that captures the imagination. The story appears to be set in a fantastical world with gnomes and forest creatures, and it includes elements of nature and adventure. The book also contains a musical score titled "????? ??????? ? ?????" ("The Sun Shines from the Heavens"), with music by I. B. Veselovskyi and lyrics by O. Fedeiko. This book is a delightful artifact of Ukrainian emigre literature and provides insight into the cultural life of Ukrainian immigrants in Canada during the mid-20th century. As of July 2024, not in OCLC.
