Today, it largely recalls the past of that industry, when traditional methods still largely existed in those pre-electronic times. About 100 pages, "Ear;ly Printing." consists four seperate booklets, each with different colour covers, the first carrying the main title, the second Modern Typography, next The Newspaper and finally Making A Book. An informative guide to the industry in the age of hot-metal, rotary presses, linotypes, hand set type and even earlier historic printing processes. First edition of 1959, unpaginated,about 100 pages, each cover has an applied art panel depicting different elements of printing, b/w photos/art throughout, document reprductions, machinery illustrations, engravings etc. VG in colour card covers with wire spiral binding, internally excellent, no inscriptions. This light book posted at cost.
