The account of a survey expedition in Siberia traveling by boat a…nd raft, and on foot with reindeer for pack animals. They traveled inland through taiga and mountains from Ayan on the Sea of Okhotsk to the Stanovoy and Joogjoor mountain ranges. It was a very difficult journey, and their lives were constantly in danger. Throughout the book are accounts of hunting argali, reindeer and brown bear, with a considerable amount of sheep hunting. Very good in very good wrapper.
