230 S. Original-Halbleinenband. Der evangelische Pastor Emanuel Felke (1856 - 1925) war einer der Protagonisten der Naturheilkunde im späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert. Er ware von 1896 bis 1914 in Repelen bei Moers und von 1915 bis 1925 in Bad Sobernheim tätig. Er entwickelte unter anderem die nach ihm benannte "Felkekur",…die aus den fünf Elementen Sitzbad, Lichtluftbad, Lehmbad, Erdschlafen und Luftbaden (der Lungen und Atmungsorgane) bestand. Felke war ferner ein Vertreter der sog. Irisdiagnostik (Iridologie), mit deren Hilfe Krankheiten an Veränderungen der Iris erkannt werden sollten. Die Methode fand allerdings wegen fehlender empirischer Nachweise nie eine schulmäßige Anerkennung. Felke gilt außerdem als Vater der sog. Komplex-Homöopathie. Sehr gutes Exemplar.
