Book Condition: Good. 190pp. c.1861, (inscription to ffep dated 1862) with cloth engraved covers, gilt page edges all round and gilt title. Contains many beautiful, fine steel engravings. Coverboards are a little rubbed with heavy bumping/shelf wear to spine ends. Copperplate inscription dated 1862 to ffep, toned pages but clean.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good +. First Edition. In publishers' original, blind stamped cloth with gilt decoration on front and spine. 184 pages all edges gilt. Illustrated with 12 full page steel engravings of views along the river. No date but c1830. In very nice, clean condition, tightly bound with no fading, fraying or splitting. The engravings are particularly fresh and crisp and still have their tissue guards. This book has been obviously well looked after and their is only mild toning in places in keeping with its age.
