Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Quoting from the flap of the dust jacket: "For this book he (Frank Buck) has gathered together information about some of the more interesting creatures of the jungle and veldt. His description of them, and his graphic accounts of how he trailed and captur…ed many of these animals, will stir your interest and excite your imagination. Here, then, is a book that is as exciting to read as it is to look at, with its true-to-life pictures by Roger Vernam." The Author- Frank Buck- has flat signed this book on the half title. The book is very well illustrated thorughout, many with color images. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket, however, has been damaged, with some tears and wrinkling mainly along the top edge but elsewhere as well. I still think that it could be repaired. The hard covers are slightly bumped, particularly at the spine tips. Inside, the book is unmarked except for the Author's signature; the rest of the pages are bright and with still vivid colors. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Roger Vernam (illustrator). Signed by Author(s).
