Illustrated with 7 plates and 1 folding plate. With several annotations throughout the volume in reference to the text, referencing the history of several masonic lodges. In addition there is a clipping tipped-in to page 95, in reference to the death of Mary Hannah Dyson, whose husband R Dyson is reference in the text. An interesting work of Masonic history, who interesting notes and annotations the previous owner. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with calf spine label. Externally lightly bumped to the head and tail of the spine and also to the extremities. Rubbing the calf spine label, with patches of rubbing to the joints. Two small tidemarks to the front board.
