A biography of Sir Francis Bacon in the form of a long poem with prose interruptions. The book explores four aspect of Bacon: the aspirant; the theorist of science; the bisexual; and the pagan. Bacon was also a poet. Very Good, slightly spotted to edges, and with mild peripheral discolouration to lower wrapper. Loosely inserted is a flyer for the book.

Some age-darkening to edges of covers and toning of text paper, still a very good copy of a quite uncommon book.
