(12608) L'autore, "artigiano del cuoio", ma per diletto e passione storico ed archeologo, documenta in questa monografia l'esistenza dell'antica cerchia muraria di Bologna intorno all'anno Mille, sulla base dei reperti delle mura e degli antichi edifici distrutti, frutto di scavi dell'epoca; e ne riporta il perimetro sulle due piante allegate.

XIII ai tempi di Dante, con un'attenta ricognizione dei reperti degli antichi edifici distrutti e di rilievi fotografici e topografici, documentati nel ricco corredo illustrativo; e ne riporta l'ubicazione nelle due piante allegate.

Grande carta litografica in colore, cm 53,5 x 76 circa + margini, in cornice. "Pianta corrispondente in tutti i suoi particolari all'altra in rilievo da me ideata e costruita, tratta dalle opere storiche del Conte Senatore G, Gozzadini, G. Guidicini e di altri storici". Segue firma autografa dell'A. In un cartiglio a piede applicata l'immagine otografica del plastico de "La Fosca Turrita Bologna". In ottimo stato di conservazione, in cornice. Rara Storico bolognese (1833 - 1933), eclettico personaggio che, pur autodidatta, riuscì a ricostruire la toponomastica bolognese del XIII secolo . Criticato da molti ebbe però l'indubbio merito di puntualizzare uno dei periodi storici più oscuri e complicati.
