Fink, de son côté, propose un point de départ «cosmologique» et élucide la pensée héraclitéenne de l «un-tout» à travers une approche du «feu» et des antagonismes au centre desquels se trouve le «feu». Mais cette divergence se produit au sein d'une communauté d horizon : la reconnaissance de l «achèvement» de la métaphysique.
