Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Limited Edition. One of 500 copies signed by Darrell Schweitzer, but it has no individual number. Also, the front endpapers are a little bit grubby. Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. A captivating and original book; this manages to balance a vivid account of a great artist and the larger picture of his time and place. This is a clean and tight first printing and it has a contemporary review loosely enclosed. There is a neat former owner's signature on the front end paper, and an attractive blind stamp, but this hardly distracts. The jacket is unclipped and with no damage beyond a little ageing.

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. A first printing of the first edition of the UK hardback. Tight and secure binding, with the wonderful full colour cloth eyeball peering through the jacket hole. The featured character responsible for the peeping is extended around the back of the cover boards and it's well worth looking at. The jacket is not torn or loose, but there are a few minor 'near wrinkles' which are hard to see. This is not an 'As New' copy but it does look unread. With such a large volume - all 742 pages of it - the signs of usage are usually obvious. No former owner names, not ex library. This has no serious 'lean' or looseness, no bumped corners. There is a bit of shelf dust on the top of the text block and that's why I rate this as Very Good but it is also close to being Near Fine. A successful novel with some great set pieces in it. Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: As New. 1st Edition. Superb book, but why do publishers use woodpulp paper? This is a near perfect copy of the UK first edition but the pages have 'embrowned' through the poor quality paper. There is a gift inscription on the half title which my price allows for. Apart from that it looks unread, and the jacket is protected and perfect.

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. An unexpectedly astute book about Hollywood, featuring Terry Gilliam while working on The Brothers Grimm for Harvey Weinstein and Miramax. Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Apart from the usual faults with all the books in this issue - which were printed on cheap paper, which quickly 'embrowns' - this is a decent collectable first printing of the hardback first edition. No owner names or turned down corners. The jacket is unclipped, and undamaged.
