The book states "First Edition" and shows a copyright date of 1952, but printed at the top of the jacket's front panel is "Presented in Commemoration of The Bowker Centennial: 1872-1972." Internally, nothing suggests a time later than 1952. My guess is that a new jacket was placed on old-stock copies of the book at the approach of the centennial. A fine copy in a near fine dust jacket. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.
