Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. A very scarce copy of this publication. The text is mostly in Danish, but all of the many illustrations have both Danish and English captions. The vinaigrettes display superb craftsmanship, and were usually made from gold or silver, and were used throughout the 18th and 19th century to relieve the owner from foul odours. The book it presented in a green card slip which is slightly sunned. The book has therefore been protected and is in great condition. The nicely illustrated DJ has minimal wear. The cloth boards are excellent and internally it is pristine, printed on fine quality paper. It comes complete with a letter from a grateful recipient of the book. Presents very well.
