Handbill promoting the 1947 runaway hit film short "Open the Door,… Richard" by Black comedian and musical performer Dusty Fletcher (1900-1954). The song was originally written and performed by Jack McVea in 1946 and was already a hit before Fletcher's routine brought it to the screen. The handbill promises, "It's terrific -- It's a knockout." "Booked over the entire Loew circuit.".
