First edition, first printing. Publisher's original black cloth with yellow titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. Deckled fore-edge. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth bright and fresh, with some bumping to the spine tips and just a little rubbing to the extremities. The contents, with light toning to the cl…osed text block and the occasional tiny brown mark throughout, are otherwise clean and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased original dustwrapper, which is chipped to the upper spine folds and to the head of the toned front flap fold, and has a moderate chip to the bottom edge of the scratched rear panel, with light toning to the spine and a short closed tear to the top edge of the rear panel. Not price-clipped ($3.95 on the front flap). Three novels on the theme of witchcraft issued together in one volume. 'Conjure Wife' and 'There Shall Be No Darkness', having been first published in 'Unknown Worlds' and 'Thrilling Wonder Stories' magazines, are published here for the first time in book form, while 'The Blue Star' is published here for the first time. Each novel was later published separately, with 'Conjure Wife' ultimately winning the 2019 Retro Hugo Award for 'Best Novel'.
