This SCARCE 275 pp. indexed book is the best biography of Queen Victoria, of England ever written, and was thus used as a textbook, after the author penned it. The author, from Louisville, Kentucky, was a Doctor's daughter, and married a Doctor, and with their influence, she went to England and lived with the Royal Family for a year, researching Queen Victoria's life. Queen Victoria's real name was Alexandrina, and the Title refers to her family calling her "Drina" for short. This is a STATED FIRST EDITION, genuinely SIGNED by the author on the Title page. There is a prior owner's name atop the first blank flyleaf, and the boards have lightly bumped corners, but otherwise it is in VERY GOOD + condition.No other autographed copies online, on any site.
