      Quarter Leather. Condition: Fine. Collector's Edition. Octavo, xv, [1], 194pp, [4]. Quarter maroon calf, hand sown by The Schulberth Bookbindery of Los Angeles. Includes handmarbled endpapers. Housed in custom box, made of California black oak, treated with carnuba paste wax. Includes an additional suite of eight woodblocks from the artist, each individually numbered and signed. Laid-in paperwork includes a letter from the publishers, the invoice for the purchase, and promotional material. From a limited edition of 25 copies signed by Herbert Gold and Bill Prochnow on the limitation page, this being number 14. The total print run for this work was 220 copies, of which 200 were offered for public sale. The 200 for public sale were housed in a slipcase. This Collector's Edition was limited to 25 copies, with numerous improvements over the trade edition. The limited Collector's Edition of The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze by William Saroyan, one of 25 deluxe copies from Carolyn and James Robertson. This copy is from the private collection of James R. Donnelley. (illustrator). Signed.
