Elle avait été condamnée à 1 an et 1 mois de prison pour un vol de souliers et avait purgé entièrement sa peine. Le document est signé par le greffier, le maire de Fontevraud (Roy ?) et, le 10 juillet, par un gendarme de Lusignan. Beau document. [372].

Le séminaire fléchois de Bourbon-Lavedan dit aussi le petit Fontevraud En 1614, la formation (théologie, philosophie) des religieux novices de l'ordre de Fontevraud est effectuée par un bénédictin anglais et par des pères jésuites à la Flèche (72000). Cette implantation est pérennisée en 1619, année qui voit la 30e abbesse de Fontevraud Louise de Bourbon Lavedan fonder un séminaire à La Flèche pour que les moines de l'abbaye y viennent suivre l'enseignement des jésuites. Un bref du pape Paul V en date du 2 décembre 1621 confirmera cette fondation. Son premier supérieur sera le frère Montéage à qui furent confiés douze religieux étudiants. Pour autant un peu plus de trente ans plus tard, l'abbesse Jeanne-Baptiste de Bourbon entreprit une réforme complète de l'institution en adjoignant à ce monastère d'hommes un couvent de religieuses sur le modèle initial des implantations fontevristes. Ainsi naquit ce que l'archiviste Jean Lardier nomma le « Petit Fontevraud ». Agrandi en 1631 avec la reconstruction de l'aile orientale mais abandonnant sa fonction initiale dès 1642, l'enseignement des jeunes filles sous la houlette des religieuses fontevristes fut désormais sa fonction. Confisqué par la commune au titre de bien national (1793), l'ex séminaire fut vendu à un particulier aux fins d'habitation avant sa destruction en 1880. Aujourd'hui il ne reste quasiment rien de l'édifice auquel a succédé une école Seule la petite rue Fontevrault, qui serpente au coeur de la vieille ville entre la Grande rue et Le Loir, témoigne encore de cette institution originale.
