Bernheimer was part owner of a film company and a patron of Robert Frost (he arranged over the years to pay Frost a kind of stipend for whatever he cared to send him from month to month -- be it drafts, proofs or wastebasket shavings). Illustrated with stills from the movie starring Wallace Beery as P.T. Barnum and featuring Adolphe Menjou.
