Wraps. Condition: Good. Rare. Pocket size 5" x 4". Sewn wraps are heavily toned and soiled with wear along spine. Pages are toned and foxed with some transfer of the color illustrations to the facing pages. Gift inscription inside back cover. 12 pages plus cover.

Cardboard covers. Condition: Good. Wedworth Wadsworth (illustrator). Card wrappers illustrated in colors, small scuff to the back cover, 4 7/8 x 4 inches, original stab-sewn stitching along the fold. Eight leaves (16 pp.), including the covers, all printed on card stock, silver page edges, each leaf with at least one illustration in colors. Some foxing and offsetting. "Printed in Germany. No. 2101" by the Art Lithographic Company of Munich.The poetry selections by Harriet Webster Fowler include Autumn Leaves, by W. D. Gallagher; Again September's Golden Day, by S. M. Whitman; It was one of those Autumnal days that shine, by C. C. Moore; and others by R. H. Stoddard, and J. G. Whittier.The artist is Wedworth Wadsworth (1846-1927), b. Buffalo, NY; buried at Durham, CT. He was primarily a landscape painter, a watercolorist, whose paintings were featured in many exhibits during the period 1884-1905.
