The jacket is the second issue version, with the spelling of "The Magus" correct on the back flap (the first issue had the word spelled "The Magnus" in error). A photographic essay, with a preface and stunning photographs contributed by Frank Horvat, whose reputation in France is comparable to that of Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson. The text by Fowles has many reminiscenses of his childhood and family life. This heavy book will cost more to send overseas, than any default postage rate noted.
