Todd." The #50 suggests a limited edition, but the limit is not noted. Large 8vo. (24 cm.) XI, 1-370p. Profusely illustrated with black and white captioned photos throughout. [List of] Westos Timber Company Employees, School Censuses for Chum School, Columbia Valley School #67, Glacier School, Kendall School, Maple Falls School District #54 1891-1912, and Silver Lake School. [List of] Sources Consulted and Index. Profusely illsutrated with black and white captione photos, including many of the various school groupings. Decorated title page. Blue cloth with gilt letters and decorations on the spine. Just touches of wear to extremities, cloth clean and bright, gilt bright (!), Previous owner's name and address (Mike and Mary German, 8648 Silver Lake Rd., Maple Falls, WA 98266), all photos in fine condition, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. Frances Bruce Todd [1913-1998] operated the Maple Falls Store for many years and was a well-known resident of the area. A comprehensive and detailed look at the early history and subsequent development of western Whatcom County and the Glacier/Maple Falls area--a "must have" for any collector of local history in Washington.
