Boards a bit worn with shallow exposure, hairline crack to front hinge, brief 20th century ink note to front free endpaper and occasional pencil marks throughout text, one page with juvenile pencil scribbling; Very Good and sound overall. Lovely updated edition of this guidebook to the sights of Rome both contemporary and ancient, dedicated to the renowned artist and hostess Marianna Candidi Dionigi (1756-1826).
