(11078) Manoscritto "di lavoro", forse preparatorio ad una pubblicazione a stampa che poi non ebbe luogo, come precisa una nota del suo autore al frontespizio: "Il presente manoscritto, con cui miravasi a raccogliere materiali per formare, col tempo, un Libro d'Oro della Nobiltà Italiana, non fu più continuato dacché cominciò a trattarsi dell'istituzione della Consulta Araldica, creata poi finalmente con Regio Decreto 10. Ottobre. 1869, e fra le di cui attribuzioni doveva essere, e fu compresa la formazione di un Albo dei Titolati.     Condition: molto buono. in-4 (mm 282x200), ff. 90, numerosi bianchi, legatura coeva in mezza percallina verde. Si tratta di un taccuino probabilmente autografo ed inedito, in cui tutti i fogli vergati hanno il testo inquadrato da una tabella in inchiostrio rosso e quelli bianchi dovevano contenere le aggiunte. L'a. vi trascrive in bella grafia alcuni dati essenziali (anno di laurea, precedenti incarichi) per le personalità che ebbero ruoli istuzionali, amministrativi, politici, giuridici presso casa Savoia tra XV secolo e 1860 circa. L'attribuzione del testo ad Alessandro Franchi Verney è verosimile poiché si tratta della stessa impostazione, anche grafica, che l'autore diede alla sua unica opera apparsa a stampa nel 1873: ''Armerista delle famiglie nobili e titolate della Monarchia di Savoia'', in cui tutte le pagine sono riquadrate in sanguigna e contengono la più dettagliata genealogia di centinaia di famiglie nobili piemontesi.
