Colonialwaaren-Groß- u. Kleinhdlg. u. chem. Fabrik (i. Nippes, Schulstr. 13), Höhle u. Quatermarkt 13." --- Der im Eintrag aufgeführte Fritz Hölscher war seit 1870 Mitinhaber Firma Franz Coblenzer, Fabrik chemisch-technischer Produkte, die in ihren Niederlassungen in Köln und Nippes "Oel- und Spritlacke für alle Gewerbe, Lakritzen, Machinenöle" produzierte (Quelle: Handbuch der Leistungsfähigkeit der gesammten Industrie des preussischen Staates, Leipzig 1873 S. 52 und 702). In dem von Otto Wenzel herausgegebenen Adressbuch der Chemischen Industrie des Deutschen Reichs (Berlin 1906) ist er ebenfalls als Mitinhaber der "Lakritzenfabrik Franz Coblenzer" aufgeführt, die neben ihrem Hauptsitz am Quatermarkt 5 in Köln auch zwei weitere Fabriken in Nippes und Ehrenfeld unterhielt. --- Datiert Köln, den 10.
