Six-panel spines, gilt decorations, including turn-ins. Leather lightly scuffed, more so on the edges but the edge rule still showing, corners bumped. Small ink owner name on the second endpaper of the first volume only, and the name Modesto Lafuente (author's true name) written neatly in blue ink on the first title page. Pages are toned with scattered foxing, all edges gilt. Small quarto's, 10" tall.
