Title page undated, rear letter dated 1883 this is the First Edition of this extremely scarce pocket sized Victorian book on the Art of Ventriloquism, bound in the original pictorial glazed printed boards, a small slim format measuring 5 inches by 3.75 inches approx., 56 pages plus publishers catalogue, the covers have some marking and edge wear else in good general condition, internally old ownership name to front endpaper, endpapers browned and foxed, there are five pages (pictured) where a former owner of the book has added some underlining and annotations, some in pen, the rest in pencil, else contents are otherwise in good condition, this is a smaller item, shipping costs will be reduced accordingly at checkout. A GENERALLY GOOD EXAMPLE OF THIS HARD TO FIND VICTORIAN BOOK ON THE ART OF VENTRILOQUISM.
