Book is about fine; bright, tight and clean. Previous owner's name neatly written on front endpaper. Red cloth, pages and endpapers are all clean. Original dust jacket with price-clipped flap. Jacket shows shallow chipping along edges. Lasker's classic is based on a series of lectures the 27-year World Champion gave in London, in 1895. In this revised edition, Fred Reinfeld updates Lasker's timeless strategic principles, pruning outdated openings and streamlining the material for modern learners. Uncommon in original jacket.
