    Paperback. First edition (same date on title and copyright pages; no additional printings listed) . Staplebound booklet, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches, original covers, index, references, 64 pp, no illustrations. Covers have some drop marks and scuffing, previous owner's signature on front cover, corners bumped, staples rusted away (leaves loose, but complete and in proper order; we leave it to the purchaser to staple it back) , paper lightly age yellowed, drop marks on upper corner of a half dozen or so leaves, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. As per title, a digest of the literature since 1930, with sections on insomnia, neuralgia and sciatica, herpes, encephalitis, polio, meningitis, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, anemia, etc, and a two page ad for Neurosine, the safe soporific. Medicine; neurology; pharmacology; infectous diseases.
