The interior is clean and tight. No cutouts or missing pages. A good copy of a vintage magazine.

Red cloth with black letters on the front cover and the spine and with an image of a man in skins carrying a spear blind stamped in high relief. Binding designer unknown. Fore- and bottom edges untrimmed. No noticeable wear to extremities, just a hint of wanting to fray at the top of the spine, cloth clean and bright, letters bright, else near fine to fine with untrimmed pages and with no internal markings. Dut jacket spine slightly darkened and with touches of rubbing on some edges but crisp and not price-clipped. This is an account of the pageant of warfare through the ages from primitive humans to the advent of tank warfare in 1916. F. Britten Austin is also the author of A SIGN OF THE SEA and other works.
