All in one a very splendid and collectable etching.] Frederick Girsch, a German artist and engraver, emigrated to the United States in 1849. The first works he executed in the US include two premium prints for the New Yorker Criminal Zeitung, this etching "Die Helden der Revolution" and a view of Niagara Falls entitled "Der Niagara".
