The hardcover has great illustrations (with no credit given to the illustrator) and fascinating advertisements from local businesses of Ashland, Kentucky. This copy has sound hinges. Its pages are not soiled but there are cursive notes in the bottom margin of many of the book's pages. The red outer covers and spine of the book show only very slight soiling but some of the white lettering on the front cover has rubbed off and the spine is faded and difficult to read. The bottom right and bottom left corners of the front and back covers, respectively, are bumped and there is rubbing to top and bottom edges of the spine and corners. There is a previous owner's signature and notes on the book's first free endpage. (Note: Photos may show a flash reflection.) PayPal always welcome.
