Other major events in the city's history include the 1917 Speculator Mine disaster, the largest hard rock mining disaster in world history. 1st Edition. Illustrated with dozens of early black and white photographs and prints of period paintings. The condition of the book is good. The binding is secure though a little bit loose. The text is clean an occasional bent corner on a page. The cover board still retains its sharp image of miners and lettering. The corners are bumped and a little frayed.
