Add to basketHardback. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. B/W Photographs, Illustrations and Maps (illustrator). Second Edition. The signature, place and date of the previous owner (John H Evans, author of Only Angels Have Wings) is written to the page opposite the inside front board. Thereafter looks barely used. The dust jacket is not price clipped and has slight wear to corners and top and bottom of spine; slight crease to top back edge as the jacket looks very slightly too long for the book. These memoirs were first published in 1967 but not all of the story was published at that time. The book was out of print for many years but now, working from the authors' original manuscript, the full story of Freeson's role in bringing air travel to the numerous island communities can be told. POSTAGE OVERSEAS is by AIR and where extra is needed this is requested. Broadleaf Books is a second hand independent bookshop in Abergavenny, South Wales. Enquiries and visits are very welcome. hst.
