Vandas waren, was beweist, dass dort jede Stelle einer solchen Alpe versteckte Schätze bietet u. dass man richtig jedes Plätzchen absuchen muss, wenn man Alles haben will. Merkwürdigerweise hat Brandis aber immer noch keine Pancicia gefunden, trotzdem er heuer auch auf den Sarajewer Gebirgen war. Ich stecke jetzt u noch 14 Tage bis über die Ohren unter den Armeniern & Anatoliern von Sintenis und Bornmüller; das mit zwei Prachtcollectionen. Die Dahurier sind noch nicht da u. kommen erst Anfang März. Dazwischen hinein will ich Colchicum abschließen [.]". - Bei den von Freyn erwähnten Botanikern handelt es sich um Erich von Brandis (1834-1921) und Karel Vandas (1861-1923). - Papierbedingt etwas gebräunt. Die Tinte stellenweise etwas verschmiert.
