Textsauberes und solides Exemplar. - In lateinischer Sprache. - Lachmann: Karl Friedrich Theodor, Philolog, war in Braunschweig am 2. December 1800 geboren und starb schon am 14. December 1828 als Lehrer der alten Sprachen am Gymnasium zu Göttingen und Assistent an der Universitätsbibliothek daselbst. Als Student der Universität Göttingen hat er zwei Jahre nacheinander die von der philosophischen Facultät für 1820/21 und 1821/22 gestellten Preisfragen über die Quellen des Livius gelöst; die erste dieser preisgekrönten Abhandlungen veröffentlichte er im J. 1822, nachdem er sich an der Universität als Privatdocent habilitirt hatte, unter dem Titel "De fontibus historiarum T. Livii commentatio prior" (123 S.); die zweite erst im J. 1828 unter dem Titel "De fontibus historiarum T. Livii commentatio altera" (116 S.). (vergl.
