A very scarce vol…ume in the even scarcer dust wrapper.M Friedriger's travelogue of Palestine, in which he shares his thoughts and impressions of the country. A fascinating account with much historical, cultural, and topographical information.With an explanation of some Hebrew words.Illustrated throughout with numerous plates of photographs in black and white, and complete with a folding map of Palestine tipped in to the rear. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear and some edge wear, as usual. with a minor offsetting to the upper edge of the front wrap. The dust wrapper is sound with some shelf wear and chipping, with a loss to the head of the front wrap affecting the titles, and minor closed tears to the spine. The rear wrap of the dust wrapper is coming loose at the spine, and may detach with further handling; unclipped, with two postcards illustrating flowers internally to the rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. the pages are bright and clean. Illustrated throughout with numerous plates of photographs in black and white, and complete with a folding map of Palestine tipped in to the rear. Very Good Indeed. Not Stated (illustrator). book.
