Die thermischen Zustände innerhalb der Straßenkonstruktion werden mit Hilfe der Wärmebilanzgleichung numerisch simuliert. Die projizierten Klimadaten der REMO-UBA-Simulation für die Emissionsszenarien A1B, B1 und A2 [Jaco 05] bilden die klimatischen Eingangsgrößen der thermischen Simulation. Die Analyse erfolgt an sieben möglichst charakteristischen Regionen in Deutschland, für die jeweils die simulationsrelevanten projizierten Klimadaten in einer zeitlichen Auflösung von 1 h zur Verfügung standen. Jede Region entspricht einer Fläche von 67 km x 100 km. Der Untersuchungszeitraum erstreckt sich von 1960 - 2100. Zusätzlich werden sowohl die thermophysikalischen Materialeigenschaften wie auch die Befestigungsaufbauten (Schichtenfolge, Schichtdicken) variiert. Aus den thermischen Simulationen erfolgt die Ableitung der dimensionierungsrelevanten Tempe-raturbedingungen. Für die rechnerische Dimensio nierung von Asphaltstraßenbefestigungen werden diese dimensionierungsrelevanten thermischen Bedingungen durch vertikale Temperaturverläufe einschließlich einer zugeordneten Auftretenswahrschein lichkeit abgebildet. Für die rechnerische Dimensionierung von Betonstraßenbefestigungen können die maßgebenden Temperaturgradienten aus den thermischen Bedingungen abgeleitet werden. Die Auswirkungen klimatischer Veränderungen auf die Dauerhaftigkeit von Straßenbefestigungen wird anhand der Ergebnisse umfangreicher Dimensionierungsrechnungen gemäß den [RDO Asphalt 09] bzw. den [RDO Beton 09] abgeschätzt. Es konnte festgestellt werden, dass Asphalt- und Betonbefestigungen unterschiedlich stark auf die projizierten Klimaänderungen reagieren. Während die Dauerhaftigkeit von Betonbefestigungen kaum durch die Klimaverschiebungen beeinflusst wird, zeigen sich bei den untersuchten Asphaltbefestigungen deutliche Abhängigkeiten. Demnach nimmt die prognostizierte Nutzungsdauer der untersuchten Asphaltbefestigungsvarianten innerhalb des Untersuchungszeitraums deutlich ab. Die Intensität der Nutzungszeitverkürzung ist dabei abhängig von dem Emissionsszenario, den thermophysikalischen Materialeigenschaften und den Bauweisenvarianten (Schichtdicken, Schichtfolgen). Zusätzlich konnte eine regionale Abhängigkeit festgestellt werden, die jedoch je nach Wahl des Emissionsszenarios unterschiedlich stark ausgeprägt ist. Anhand der umfangreichen Variationen der Randbedingungen konnten entsprechende Anpassungsstrategien detektiert werden. Primär lassen sich demnach die negativen Auswirkungen klimatischer Veränderungen hinsichtlich der Dauerhaftigkeit von Asphaltstraßenbefestigungen durch Anpassungen der Asphaltpaketdicken teilweise kompensieren. Durch die gezielte thermophysikalische Mischgutoptimierung besteht durchaus ein nicht unerhebliches Potential, den Auswirkungen künftiger klimatischer Veränderungen entgegenzuwirken. Infolge des sehr geringen Einflusses klimatischer Veränderungen auf die Dauerhaftigkeit von Betonstraßenbefestigungen besteht nach derzeitigem Kenntnisstand keine Notwendigkeit entsprechender Anpassungsstrategien.
