Grenzkolorierte Karte, 57x74 cm, 20 Segmente auf Leinen montiert; -Leinen stärker braunfleckig, Karte etwas berieben, gutes Exemplar. Einige Zeit nach Reuter gründete Maximilian Frommann (1813-1866) im Jahr 1835 eine lithografische Anstalt am Marktplatz und verlegte den Betrieb 1850 in die Schützenstraße. Frommann druckte neben Banknoten, topografischen Karten und Stadtplänen auch Spielkarten. Auch er nahm an der Weltausstellung 1851 teil, musste seinen florierenden Betrieb mehrfach erweitern. Nach seinem Tod konnten sich seine Erben nicht auf eine gemeinsame Fortführung der Firma einigen; es entstanden deshalb zwei Nachfolgefirmen: Frommann & Bünte, geführt von Maximilian Frommanns Tochter Anna (1844-1922) und ihrem Ehemann Georg Bünte (1832-1914) am alten Firmensitz in der Schützenstraße, und Frommann & Morian, geleitet von Annas Bruder Friedrich (1841-1905) und seinem Partner Friedrich Morian (1844-1901), zunächst in der Bleichstraße, ab 1885 in der Heidelberger Straße im damals noch selbstständigen Bessungen angesiedelt. Frommann & Bünte erweiterten ihr Firmengelände, als sie 1895 eine neue Fabrik am östlichen Stadtrand in der Roßdörfer Straße (zwischen heutiger Beck- und Inselstraße) errichteten. Nach dem Tod von Georg Büntes Sohn Otto (1874-1928) wurde die Firma geschlossen.
