Cherubs, scrolls, and Ionic columns frame a portrait of Jacobus Eynhoudts, possibly its compiler. Published by Charpentier, the work exemplifies French design refinement and classical proportionality, echoing the reference in the engraving to Vignolas principles for lovers of fine craftsmanship. Engraving 20 x 34 cms, sheet 20 x 34 cms. The detailed engraved page is very clean, with only a hint of blemishes in the unprinted margins, which will disappear once mounted, as will a small tear (no loss) in the bottom margin. An attractive architectural style engraving. Category: PRINTS : Antiquarian Interest; PRINTS : Historic Interest; Printed before 1800; Special Features.
