Original cloth embossed Hardcover. Gilt front cover and spine. Cover slightly stained and curved. Cover corners bumped. Cover and spine age-stained. Spine stained. Spine edges tattered/peeling. Pages yellowing and somewhat wavy. [VOL.I]: Spine hinges partly cracked. Binding slightly visible between front inner cover and whitepage. Several first pages and rear whitepage slightly creased/wrinkled. Pages 13-19 bottom edge slightly age-stained. [SUMMARY]: These extremely rare two volumes of the celebrated compilation of Rabbinic legends are otherwise in good condition. The book is in : Russian.
