Cover has very slight shelfwear. Gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Pages are clean and unmarked, slightly toned/foxed . Aerial view terrain photograph in back with tissue. Binding is tight. Hinges are perfect. Very nice copy.

Gilt-lettered unevenly sunned and a little rubbed; some tanning internally; a very good copy. Transvaal Museum Memoir No. 4. The genus Plesianthropus is now recognised as Australopithecus africanus. The date 'February, 1950' is stamped on the series title page.
