Red cloth covers generally clean but some patches of light pigment loss,… notably to back and spine dull. Remembered by psychologists for his early (1891) establishment of a laboratory at the University of Louvain, but this work understandably concentrates on his religious career and ideas and his heroic role during the Great War in stubbornly refusing to collaborate with the occupying Germans.
