First Edition. Stated first edition 1957. The dust jacket is lightly shelf worn. Two tiny tears along the top edge of the dust jacket. Small tear to the bottom edge of the dust jacket. Light rubbing / bumping to the head / tail of the dust jacket spine. Small patches of rubbing to the corners of the dust jacket. Light / small creases to the dust jacket. The front side of the dust jacket has two light / minimal 1 inch scuffs to the front side. The dust jacket is now protected in a mylar wrap. The red boards show minimal wear. Light bumping to the head / tail of the spine - else fine. Very light yellowing to the top edge of the pages. The internal pages are clean and the binding is sound. The book has many b/w photographs and would make an enjoyable read.
