Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. Bari had become a hard man - or I should say a hardened man. He hadn't intended on becoming that man. He certainly never expected to be at the place he found himself on that terrible day of judgment. Bari was on death row. The day had come when he was scheduled to die in merciless fashion, at the hands of an unsympathetic executioner, and in plain sight of all who cared to observe his physical termination. There were many who had come to observe the carrying out of Bari's death sentence. It was normal to have a crowd of people on hand to witness such violent events, but on that day, for some unexplainable reason, the crowd was much larger than normal. One Reader's Review: The idea of using a parable to relate the story of a person who could be any one of us was ingenious. I started to read your parable and the chills started, to say the least, and I knew I was a goner. I knew I would be up late at night, quickly turning the page to read on through all hours of the night to get to the moral of your story. It's amazing that one who made all attempts at being good and who thought they were on the right path could fall so far so fast. Anyone could pick up this book and read it without feeling as if they were being forced to read some "religious" book. It was a parable, so powerful in its delivery, that it could relay with political correctness the tale of a person whose life was changed by the actions of those they trusted and believed in. It's a tale that all of us could relate to in having been disappointed by those whom we have lifted to such heights that God himself must look down at us and laugh. - Snyder Faustin, BCaBA Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
