Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, pre-release review copy which was sent out prior to publication without a dust jacket. The exterior shows toning and spotting, mainly along the edges of the boards. Edges and corners also show minor bumps and wear. The interior binding is good and text pages are tight. There are no hinge issues present. Text pages are toned but clean, although the end pages and pastedowns do show foxing spots. The front pastedown contains a tipped-in slip from the publisher stating this copy is furnished by the publisher's for editorial and review purposes, along with the proposed price per copy. In addition, there is a another sheet from the publisher showing the proposed publication date of 22 December 1920 and has a typed instructions and comparison. The exterior of the book grades closer to a VG- but the interior grades a higher VG.
