Third Edition, revised and updated. Third Edition, revised and updated. Profusely illustrated with photographs and drawings. xvii, [iii], 296 pp. 1 vols. 4to. A revised version of this classic work, first published in 1977. Despite the enormous amount of precise craftsmanship involved in the production of a fine fly rod (and its repair and refinishing), the authors' step-by-step approach, with careful and explicit illustrations, make it seem almost easy. Or, the book can simply be enjoyed as a unique celebration of a sporting implement that comes close to being a true work of art. In three quarter green calf and marbled boards. Fine Profusely illustrated with photographs and drawings. xvii, [iii], 296 pp. 1 vols. 4to.
